Back a few years ago when I had a different account on Deviantart.com I got into a pissing contest with a moderator. The nature of the conflict was censorship. I had several cartoons that went beyond, what I assume to be, the community standard. In this heated exchange I made several deragatory remarks and probably came off as a jack-ass. My account was banned. Everything was lost. I... had lost.
I returned a while ago, under the radar, and posted a little bit of this and that but never apologized for my behavior. Whether I was right or wrong, I know that this site is the property of someone else and if I'm going to play...I have to play by the rules. No more wilding out and pushing buttons or...art-trolling moderators to piss them off. It doesn't pay off. This is a huge stage and you have the opportunity to meet and colab with really great artists and great human beings. I missed this place. I'm glad I'm back.
I have a condition called bi-polar type II. I'm not ashamed of it. Unfortunately this condition pushed back a lot of years lost to depression and misguided anger. If you or someone you love has bi-polar I or II...urge them to get help. It might take years to find the right medicine but it CAN be treated and you CAN be "healed". Some medications for these type of conditions stunt creativity. If that's the case and your a creator, find a new med. There is hope and there is a happy ending but you can't give up and you can't let a loved one give up either. For every problem there is a solution.
Always available to talk about this with anyone if you need someone to talk too.
Thanks
Yak
